Brian Kim

Brian Kim is currently serving as the Executive Vice president for Housing Opportunities & Concepts. Mr. Kim has nearly 12 years of experience in the area of real estate finance that includes structuring of complex transactions using multiple financing sources.

Mr. Kim, as a Portfolio Manager for Housing Opportunities Commission, was responsible for managing a bond portfolio totaling $360 million. During his tenure as the Portfolio Manager, he has underwritten various deals using tax-exempt bonds, taxable bonds, bond anticipated notes, and low income housing tax credit equities.

Prior to joining the Commission, Mr. Kim worked as an Investment Manager for The Commercial Bank of Korea responsible for underwriting fixed income debts. He has underwritten various transactions using Zero Coupon Bonds, FRN, and FRCD to be used as mezzanine financing.

Mr. Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Business Administration, with concentration in International Finance, from American University.
