Steve Duncan

Steve Duncan joined HO&C in January 2008. He brings more than 25 years diversified experience in real estate development in the nonprofit and for profit sectors. His portfolio includes operating his own real estate brokerage, development and construction company for over fifteen years. He served as the Director of Operations for Community Housing Partners, the largest non-profit housing development corporation in Virginia and the southeast; and has been a licensed real estate broker and Class A contractor for twenty years.

Mr. Duncan was Deputy Director of Interfaith Housing Alliance, Inc., Frederick, Maryland where he served as second in command and was Asset Manager for their real estate portfolio. He also directed real estate development and construction and served as Interim Director of Fund Raising. He has participated in numerous affordable housing developments and participated in three successful HOPE VI applications and their implementation. Mr. Duncan’s unique combination of real estate development, leasing, brokerage, construction and affordable housing experience offers a wide range of benefits.

Mr. Duncan is a graduate of Virginia Tech, in Blacksburg, Virginia where he has also done graduate studies toward his MPA.
